YOUNG budding actors were lining up to play monster victims at The Nuffield.

They were trying out for the part of William, one of the monster's victims, in the theatre's forthcoming production of Frankenstein.

Older boys and men also turned out to the auditions later in the day to try out for the chorus, where they would be playing ship's crew, mad scientists and villagers.

Some would-be actors were picked at the auditions but The Nuffield is still looking for more people.

They need another boy who is less that four feet to play the part of William and more men and older boys, aged 17-plus, for the chorus.

If you would like to audition please call Julie Bisco at The Nuffield on 02380 315500.
