TEAMS of nautical New Forest residents took the plunge in a popular sailing event.
Spectators flocked to watch the events of sailing enthusiasts in this year's Lymington Bath Race.
Winners David and Danielle Pitman developed their entry Flash Flood on caravan technology, which had shown remarkable success in recent white- water river rafting.
Sailors left from Lymington Pontoon, headed up to a marker and back again to claim their place at the finish.
The 18 teams amassed a raft of interesting designs, notably the Titanic 2 - which defied its pessimistic name by staying afloat.
