PAMBER Heath Scout group: The Den in Pelican Road has recently benefited from a grant of £700 from Hampshire County Council towards the cost of a new fire door.
Keith Chapman, leader of Pamber Parish Council, and Anna Macnair-Scott, borough councillor, presented the cheque to the group a few weeks ago.
The Scout group would like to express thanks to the council for the money.
PELICAN fun day: On Sunday, August 29, at The Pelican Inn, Pamber Heath, Danny and Liz are holding another of their great days for all the family.
This time all the profits will be going to a local MS support group.
Why not come along and enjoy games for children and adults? Other attractions include a bring-and-buy charity stall, a fortune teller, vintage vehicle show, hot food, drinks for all ages and more, all for charity.
The fun will commence at noon and carry on to about 6pm.
