IT WAS high fives for 100 percenters Paulsgrove after hoisting their goal tally to 20 in their opening five victories.
The leaders' latest success was a 4-0 victory away at Colden Common where Martin Whittaker gave them a 23rd-minute lead after the ball had ricocheted to him off the bar.
The match was delicately poised until Whittaker worked a neat one-two with Gary Wearne, who doubled Paulsgrove's advantage. An individual effort by Stevie Knight made it 3-0 after 83 minutes and Knight notched his second and his team's fourth three minutes later.
Leading goal-scorers Farnborough North End are hot on their heels following their 3-0 win over Netley Central Sports, as are Fleetlands, who hit seven without reply for the second time this term at Yateley Green.
Two goals apiece by Mark Green, Mark Wilkinson and Nick Lewis plus one from Paul Nelson also saw Micheldever hit a magnificent seven past QK Southampton, who were thumped 6-0 at Tadley Calleva just a week earlier.
Ordnance Survey's 47-year-old boss played an hour in goal for the Mapmen as they opened their win account with a 5-0 away day victory at Dave Coleman AFC. Martin Shepperdson, debutant Tom Brown, Terry Coupland, Tim Rodham and James Chalke shared the goals around.
"I quite enjoyed it," smiled Balch, who was forced between the posts following an injury to first-team regular Steve Hollick in their 3-2 midweek defeat by arch-rivals QK Southampton.
