After back-to-back defeats at the hands of Thatcham and Andover, Fareham scored their first goals and points of the campaign with a 2-0 away day success at Christchurch.
"Christchurch are a good footballing side but we were solid at the back today and it's nice to get off the mark," said Fareham manager Louis Savage.
Paul Morby grabbed Fareham's first after seven minutes with a cracking volley from just outside the penalty area, with Floyd Hamoudu netting their second 20 minutes from time.
