THE line-up for the final festival of the summer has been announced - and it includes a rare UK appearance from reggae legend Lee "Scratch" Perry.
The three-day event on the Isle of Wight is Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank's own personal take on what festivals should be.
A seasoned festival-goer himself, Rob has lined up some of the top names in dance and live music to play at the first-ever Bestival, which runs from September 10 to 12.
Basement Jaxx will be headlining on the Saturday, with local band The Bees and Zero 7 doing the honours on Friday and Sunday.
The festival will see established names, such as Fatboy Slim, Neneh Cherry and Stereo MCs, playing alongside new talent.
The organisers have even held a talent competition to give the Isle of Wight's best unsigned band and DJ the chance to play.
Rob has worked closely with local organisations to ensure the festival has a real community spirit.
As well as the great musical line-up, he has ensured that there are plenty of other events to keep people entertained.
The local Women's Institute will be running a tea tent and there will be a farmers' market to provide wholesome food. Revellers will also have the chance to wind down with a massage or a cocktail in the Cocomo Bollywood Cocktail Bar.
Bestival will take place at Robin Hill County Park.
Day or camping tickets are available from the website at www.bestival.net or www.ticketline.co.uk or by calling 0870 1000 000.
