YOUNGSTERS at Tidworth Leisure Centre were given the opportunity to get messy and go Greek at the same time in an Olympics inspired workshop led by Marlborough artist James Aldridge.
The children were encouraged to use ancient Olympia as the inspiration for pieces of artwork. The plan was to recreate architectural elements of the period during the two-day workshop as well as Greek masts and headdresses to take home.
The architectural items created will be on show at the centre for the remainder of the summer holidays.
