Hythe & DIBDEN left the New Forest on Saturday evening still wondering how they weren't taking any points back to the Waterside following their 3-2 defeat by Ringwood Town.
"I just don't know how we lost this match," sighed Hythe & Dibden chairman Robbie Parsons. "We played really well and I'm very happy with our performance - just not the result, we deserved at least a point today."
Dean Chapman put the Watersiders ahead in the first half, John Dilling levelled for the home side before James Finlay nudged Ringwood into a 55th minute lead.
Andy Lonsdale rounded off a smart move to seemingly earn Hythe & Dibden a point with his 86th minute equaliser only for Carl Fleet to grab a last-gasp winner with a header that found the net via the upright.
