BROCKENHURST were a team in a hurry on Saturday as they notched up a 3-0 opening day win over Christchurch at Grigg Lane.
Three first-half goals inside 25 minutes did the trick for the Badgers leaving their player/manager Graham Kemp a happy man after day one of the new season.
"We played very well in the first half to get to 3-0 and we created the better chances in the second half despite Christchurch probably having the greater possession," said Kemp.
Brock took the lead on 15 minutes, Dave Midgley knocked the ball over the top for striker Jason Lovell to beat the Christchurch keeper in a one-on-one.
Paul White side-footed home from six yards for their second goal ten minutes later before Marc Isaacson powered in a Nick Kemp free-kick to complete the scoring after 40 minutes.
