Bemerton boss Steve Slade admitted that his side were "a little fortuitous" to beat Totton 2-1 at Western Way.
"It was nip and tuck and we were a little fortuitous to get all three points."
Stuart Findlay fired Harlequins ahead after just two minutes but Totton were back on terms within three minutes as Marc Osman found the net with a solo effort.
Findlay grabbed the home side's winner on 20 minutes with both Findlay and Osman battering the woodwork later in the game.
Bemerton's Wiltshire rivals Downton didn't enjoy the same good fortune at Bournemouth Poppies were they twice led through Matt Guy only for a double blow by Fawzi Saadi and Paul Cuelietta to give the home side a narrow 3-2 verdict.
