SARISBURY Athletic put the final nail in Calmore Sports II's coffin with a ten-wicket win at Allotment Road - but still find themselves entrenched in the Hampshire League, County Division 1 relegation mire.
They skittled now doomed Calmore for a meagre 68 before romping to a ten-wicket victory.
But Sarisbury still have to claw back a five-point deficit, which separates them from United Services, whose final two matches are against Tichborne Park and Calmore.
"We've got Burridge in two days time and finish against Redlynch & Hale. I'm just praying it doesn't rain," said teenage Sarisbury skipper Matt Journeaux.
Locks Heath gave a neighbourly hand by beating United Services by eight wickets, but Waterlooville moved clear of the drop zone, courtesy of Martin Shephard (62), Paul Russell (59), Max Goddard (47) and Australian Jaz Bowes (4-27), who set up a 135-run win over Burridge II.
Fair Oak's lead at the top is now a mere two points after an unconvincing six-wicket win over Flamingo (115-9) - Bruce Cooper's unbeaten 46 proving decisive.
Second-placed Andover edged a point closer when Nick Dancer (5-43) and Luke Graham (4-41) dismissed Bramshaw for 152 to earn a 48-run victory.
Rob Atkins (75) and Paul Funnell (32) helped Andover reach 200-9.
Veteran left-arm spinner Vic Primmer led Lymington II a merry dance with a 6-34 return in the damp at Tichborne Park, where the visitors' 133-8 was breached by nine wickets, Martin Cheyney hitting 62.
Steve Caldecott cracked an unbeaten 119 in Old Tauntonians & Romsey's 60-run victory over St Cross Symondians II, while Brett Rawlinson's 5-48 return sank Redlynch & Hale and earned Eastleigh & Otterbourne an easy 94-run win.
Hursley Park II and BAT Sports II continue to hand on the coat tails of leaders Petersfield in the County Division 2 title chase.
While Petersfield were trouncing AWE Tadley by nine wickets, an unbeaten Paul Davies century eased Hursley Park to a five-wicket win over Rowner and Kiwi Michael Pinney scored 75 notout to secure a seven-wicket success against Cadnam.
New Milton II continue to set the pace in Division 3, but are only just ahead of Portchester, whose all-rounder Paul Hungerford followed up a nine-wicket solo show the previous week by hitting 84 in the 190-run mauling of Cranbourne.
