CONTROVERSIAL striker Agustin Delgado has moved on yet again after leaving Saints for Ecuadorian side Aucas in June.
Delgado originally signed for Aucas on loan in the spring before completing a permanent move after Southampton released him in June.
However, now Mexican side Pumas have snapped up the forward, who scored twice for his country in the Copa American last month, on loan.
The Aucas president last week claimed that Delgado had agreed a deal to stay with them until the end of the year - but within 48-hours he announced that Delgado had left for Pumas on loan.
Delgado's impressive form at Aucas had also attracted interest from Newell's Old Boys of Argentina and an unnamed Greek side.
"We have brought to Pumas the player that coach Hugo Sanchez had asked us for, the player is in perfect condition, he is not injured," said Pumas president Aaron Padilla.
Delgado signed for Saints in October 2001 for £3.25 million from Mexican champions Necaxa.
He became something of a cult figure at St Mary's but a number of injury-plagued seasons wrecked his career in the Premiership.
He only made five starts for the club plus 10 as a substitute.
