ROMAN site: After another huge crowd came to look around last weekend, the diggers are now winding down their work for 2004 on site and will leave soon.
They have had a very happy time in Silchester and got some very good sun tans! We look forward to hearing more about the finds in the autumn.

PHOENIX Club: The club heard an interesting talk about lifeboats, from Mr Jack Shovel, at its last meeting.

SPRATS: This group of small children and parents, under the leadership of our minister, the Rev Mandy Bowskill, meets again this month on August 25, at 9.30am, for fun and worship.
WINCHESTER Cathedral: Would you like to join the tea team at the cathedral occasionally?
