DOGS herding ducks, horses sitting on their hind legs, the New Forest Plonkers and a parading band of Hogwart's wizards - it could only be the Southampton Show.
Thousands of people turned out for the two-day spectacle, sponsored by the Daily Echo, at the Royal Victoria Country Park.
And the verdict: It's better than ever.
Craft stalls, fairground rides and attractions lined the sides of the huge main arena which showcased everything from the 25-strong Tigers motorcycle display team to the Romsey Old Cadets band in full Harry Potter wizarding uniform and led by a Professor Dumbledore lookalike.
Christine Alexander, from Netley, watching the New Forest Plonkers folk band roll out some favourite Irish tunes, said: "It's brilliant. It's going back to old-fashioned fair entertainment with animals and fantastic music."
Catherine Hatch, from Eastleigh, added: "It's the first time I've come down but it's really impressive. There's loads for the children to do."
