MAPPING agency Ordnance Survey is setting up a new business partnership with SOLACE, the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives.
The deal gives OS closer links to local government and means they will now supply SOLACE with mapping services.
OS director for local government James Bradshaw said: "Today local government continues to be a pacesetter, with many local authorities adopting the latest generation of our most detailed digital data.
"By working in partnership with SOLACE we will be able to engage other CEOs and senior managers to ensure best practices are shared throughout the local government community".
