TWO teenage sweethearts who ran away together more than a week ago may be sleeping rough and using false identities.
Police are growing increasingly concerned for the well-being of 13-year-old Chantelle Fisher, and Luke Parker, 15, who left their homes in Milford on Sea on Monday, August 2.
The young couple appear to have planned their disappearance.
The runaways have been spotted in the Thames Valley region, where Luke used to live, according to police.
It is also believed they may be sleeping rough and using false names and ages to avoid detection.
Chantelle's worried mother, Sheila, and father, Steve, who runs a marquee hire company, live at Shorefield Way.
A spokesman for Hampshire police said: "There is a bit of a romance going on between these two young teenagers and we believe they have run off together. We think she has a small amount of clothing and about £30.
"Their parents are concerned that these youngsters have been missing for more than a week and they are particularly concerned for Chantelle, who is quite young.
"The parents just want to know that their children are safe and well."
Anyone who sees Chantelle or Luke or who hears from them is asked to contact Hampshire police on 0845 045 4545.
