SOUTHAMPTON history is brought to life by The Sarah Siddons Fan Club this week in their latest outdoor presentation.
The amateur theatre group, which specialises in recreating colourful episodes from the city's past, will be revealing the long and varied history of St John's Palace.
The house was built by Eleanor of Aquitaine for her son, Prince John, as his English home in the 12th century.
Performances are on Saturday at 2pm and 4pm.
Tickets cost £3 and are available from the Tourist Information Centre or by calling 023 8022 0536.
