ART and flower festival: On September 25 and 26 at Christ the King Church, Brighton Hill.
Exhibits include drawings, paintings and flower decorations, which should be set up on Friday, September 24, from 10am to noon, and in the evening from 5pm to 7pm.
Viewing will continue from 10am on Saturday until 5pm, and on Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
There will be a charge of 50p for adults, and refreshments will be available.
A competition will be held on the theme of "Childhood" for work in any medium, including collage, 3D, pencil and painting.

SUMMER playscheme: Arranged by the Play Council, this may interest parents.
It is at Viables Craft Centre, Harrow Way, this Monday to Friday, from 9.30am to noon.

Visitors are invited to drop in, meet friends and enjoy coffee and cake for 40p.
MOTHER and Baby Club: Meet at Christ the King Church on Fridays, from 1pm to 3pm.
Mothers with infants under one year and women expecting babies are invited to join in.
