FORMER Wimbledon and Bolton star Dean Holdsworth netted twice as Havant & Waterlooville cruised to a 6--2 friendly win at Bashley.
Dave Wakefield had thrust Bash into an early lead with a 25-yard shot but Havant equalised within a minute through David Town.
The Hawks took the lead on 20 minutes with a superb volley from Luke Byles and the visitors stretched their advantage just before half-time when Town, looking offside, scored.
Eighteen minutes from time Havant scored again when Holdsworth met a cross from sub Dean Blake to score with a full blooded scissors kick.
Holdsworth scored again shortly after with Bash reducing the arears through Adie Adams, returning on a month'a loan from Forest Green.
James Taylor completed the scoring for Havant late on.
