THE 'Learn to Fish' day at Foxcotte Lake, Charlton, in association with the Environment Agency, the National Federation of Anglers and hosted by Andover Angling Club was a great success which will be repeated in 2005.
The six professional coaches, five men and one woman, gave tuition to over 60 individuals from five to 55 years of age, all of whom enjoyed the experience.
The main species caught were roach, but the much rarer crucian carp also showed, together with an eel and a pike.
