STEADY as she goes! Southampton has played host to a unique team-building event for bank giant NatWest, which employs hundreds of people in the city.
Ten graduate recruits from the south set sail from Southampton aboard the Spirit of Fairbridge, a replica Victorian schooner used by the Fairbridge charity, for a two-day team-building event.
The link-up with Fairbridge's ship continues NatWest's close ties with the charity, which has a centre in Southampton working with local 13-25-year-olds to help them turn their lives around.
NatWest's support is spearheaded by the bank's £1.4m funding for the charity's life skills courses, which aim to provide socially excluded youngsters with essential life skills.
