BAT Sports swept into Monday's Southern Electric Cup final against Portsmouth at the Rose Bowl with a crushing 49-run win over Havant in last night's rain-delayed semi-final.

Their match winner was New Zealander Neal Parlane, who hammered 62, including three huge sixes.

The Kiwi, who has been struggling for his form all season, added 84 for the second wicket with Richard Kenway (31) as BAT posted 136-5 off 20 overs.

Havant, who had been robbed of a likely semi-final victory by the rain last week, were never really in the hunt against a fired-up BAT side, which fielded superbly.

Will Prozesky (20) was the only batsman to make his mark as Chris Thomason (2-21), Dave Banks (2-30) and Damian Shirazi (2-10), aided by a hat-trick of slick run-outs, dismissed cup holders Havant for 87.
