BIG Wheel 10: St Michael's Hospice's "Big Wheel 10" took place on Sunday, July 18, starting and finishing at Down Grange.

It was great to see the cyclists on the 18 and 45-mile courses going by, and to see so many youngsters.

Well done to everybody who took part.

BASINGSTOKE Ladies Choir: Would like to invite people to their 40th anniversary concert at the Haymarket Theatre on Saturday, August 7, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are on sale at the box office and are priced at £10 with £8 concessions.

If you are unable to get to the Haymarket to book your seats either through disability or work commitments, then call Jean Kennedy on 781392, who will willingly get them for you.

KEMPSHOTT WI: The next meeting is at Kempshott Village Hall on Monday, at 7.30pm.

Mr S Childs will be giving a talk entitled "Manydown House and Family".

HAPPY holidays: Most of the schools will have broken up last week, so I hope you have plenty to do and the weather stays nice.

On a less than pleasant note, if you see anybody hanging around a school near you, call the police, or give me a call, and I will pass the message on.

TOP Marks Pre-school: All the parents/guardians of children moving on to school in September would like to thank Sue, Jeanette and staff for all their hard work.
