ROAD closure: You will probably have seen the large signs warning us of a road closure on the B3349 (Reading Road) between Hook and Hound Green.
The work is due to start on August 2, and will obviously have a big impact on drivers who travel to and from Reading on a daily basis.
Work is said to take up to 20 weeks (which will take us into mid-December), so expect disruption at that end of the village.
