STEPHAN Hall, a partner with financial accountants Grant Thornton, was arrested by Ministry of Defence Police and detained on board HMS Warrior at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
Mr Hall was participating in the "Lock Up Your Boss" day in aid of the Barnardo's children's charity and would only be released on condition that his workforce, based in Segensworth and Southampton, was able to raise more than £500 for the charity.
