A SPORTY initiative for deaf and hearing-impaired youngsters has kicked off in Southampton.
The Hear the Cheer scheme roadshow visited the city's outdoor sports centre.
Youngsters aged five to 18, together with their brothers and sisters, were able to take part in activities including speed and agility tests, penalty shoot-outs and coaching sessions as well as information areas for parents to find out more about the latest hearing products and services.
