HAMPSHIRE'S Paul Hogan was knocked out in the quarter-finals of the Gold Cup at Lakeside.
Hogan, pictured, was beaten by Cheshire's Brian Derbyshire with 'Lamb Chop' Ritchie Davies winning the title.
There was a Welsh double as Julie Gore won the ladies singles, with Hampshire's Jane Monaghan losing in the last 32 to Emma King.
The Hampshire men's pair of Alan Yates and Neville Wright went out in the last 32.
Ladies duo Jill Field and Zo Wood went out in the preliminary round of an event won by Dorset's Caroline Carter and Jane Mousley.
Waterside Charity Darts League
Just two maximums were recorded in the latest round of matches from Andrew Balmforth (Croft) and Glenn Toms (Bridge Tavern).
Top finishes: Keith White (Malt & Hops) 118, Colin Cousins (Exbury) 117, Neilson Pritchard (Croft) 112.
Skill League
Hedge End came from 2-0 down to trounce Manor BL 5-2 to move up to second place on game difference.
Wins came from Sue Church, Nancy Butt, Iris Janaway, Margaret Barfoot and Paula Allen, who hit the week's highest score of 140.
Chris Katterns and Jenny Bailey had put Manor in charge.

Andy Spreadbury (New Inn), Paul Schick (Linden Tree A), Tony Hall (Grapes), Rob Cunningham (Woodman), Dave Laurent (Bishop's Waltham SC), Chris Bryant (Cricketers) and G Shears (Hedge End) scored 180s.

Maximums came from Greg Cheesbrough (Stoneham), G Phillips (Stoneham), Lyndon Hickman (Arrow) and Kevin Ede (Arrow).
The pairs final will take place at Stoneham on August 4 and not August 14 as per the calendars.
Bitterne Park Hotel Invitation League
Alan Butler (Ford's Social Club) starred with two maximums and a 170 check-out in his side's 5-4 win over Ice House A.
Mick Noyce (Ice House A) checked out with 112 while D Mansfield (South Western Arms) hit a maximum.
Itchen & District
Dave Parker (Roll Call) threw his first-ever maximum playing for the Division Two leaders against Netley Central.
Teammate Ian Goodyer hit a 102 finish while top checkout was 128 by Paul Chamberlain (Woolston).
