THE final round of Andover Angling Club's evening series started with a possible five anglers in line for the prestigious title.
Tackle Emporium, Romsey's James Hillier was one of those in contention and made sure of the title by winning, taking an impressive 15lb 2oz in the two and a half hour match at Foxcotte Lake in Charlton.
Second was an angler better known for his exploits on two wheels with Andover Wheelers Phil Jacobs who caught 14lb 4oz for a deserved second place.
In third place was Kevin Justice with 13lb 15oz and sections were won by Colin Harris with 11lb 8oz and 2003/04 champion, Paul Barnard from Amesbury, who caught 12lb 6oz. Runner-up to James Hillier was Colin Harris for the overall title.
