AS THE light started to fade, Jools Holland and his band took to the stage of the Larmer Tree Festival and started to weave their musical magic.
This has become an annual gig in the garden for Jools and his band of talented performers - and once again they rose to the occasion.
The crowd were eager to enjoy and Jools did not disappoint
Vocalists Sam Brown and Ruby Turner were in fine voice as always - Valentine Moon from Sam Brown was as sweet as ever, while Ruby belted out her three numbers with all the power and force you expect from a singer of her prodigious talent.
The setting is gorgeous and once you hear those fantastic boogie woogie rhythms, you can't help but get into the swing of it.
Jools and his band know how to entertain, and their big sound works perfectly in the magical setting of ancient oaks and exotic woodland.
