PUPILS from a Hampshire school held a multicultural day to celebrate our growing ties with other European countries.
The kids from Brookfield School in Sarisbury Green donned traditional costumes and sampled food from 25 European Union countries.
Quizzes and competitions tested the pupils knowledge of the foreign countries and prizes were donated by Sainsbury's. Organiser Jamie German, head of Geography, said: "As we are a Language College, it is important for us that our pupils extend their horizons and really feel part of the European Community. This day gives us a chance to do that and to have some fun at the same time."
