REBECCA King kept up her run of form in the Wessex Young Athletes' League at Bournemouth. Eastleigh & District Junior AC's sprinter clipped half a second off her personal best to win the under-13 girls' 200 metres in 28.9sec.

Katie Shipp and Laura Connolly also ran faster than ever - Shipp heading the B 1,200m in 4.20.6 and Connolly clocking 4.20.1 for second place in the A race.

Elliot Chudleigh won the under-13 boys' 100m in a 13.3pb and Liam Hargreaves marked his debut with second in the 1,500m (5.45.7). Peter Hoe recorded wins and pbs in the under-15 age group long jump (5.09) and javelin (35.15).

Tom Orton claimed B long jump second (4.16) and Laura Harvey (un-15 girls' B javelin, 11.26 pb) and Natasha Smith (under-15 girls' B discus, 10.38) were runners-up.

Fran Padilla won her second under-17 javelin competition in a row and Ben Smith the A 200m (23.8). Lalo Harris was second in 100m hurdles (17.9 pb), 400m (56.1 pb) and shot (8.21).
