CHILDREN enjoyed an afternoon out of their classrooms during Hazel Wood Infant School's sports day.
Parents watched on as children took part in running and obstacle races, long jump and wellie throwing.
Children at the 221-pupil school in Hazel Farm Road, Totton, all aged between four and seven, cooled off with drinks and ice lollies.
Head teacher Sarah Peters said: "We had a fantastic day.
"The children thoroughly enjoyed a wide range of activities and we were delighted that so many parents were able to attend to cheer their children on."
