There will be a lot of work on the A340 Mulfords Hill, however, it is needed and must be done, so we must grin and bear it.

Lets hope that we have good weather so they can get on with it quickly.

WI markets: These are still going strong on a Wednesday, from 8am to 10.15am.

There is lots to buy, including fresh home-grown produce, locally-made jams, marmalade, pickles, plants, cakes, biscuits, puddings... and the list goes on. Toast, tea and coffee will also be available.

The market is held weekly at the community centre in Newchurch Road.
