GLAMOUR model Jordan has played a key role in upping sales at a bookshop chain on the south coast.
Katie Price's autobiography, Being Jordan, sold more than 17,500 copies at Ottakar's after being snapped up by mainly teenage customers.
The book, by the star of television show I'm a Celebrity.....Get Me Out of Here, helped boost like-for-like sales by 4.1 per cent in the 23 weeks to July 10.
Salisbury-based Ottakar's has 122 outlets, including Eastleigh, Lymington and Newport on the Isle of Wight.
Experts forecast a £9m profit over the year for the company, which also had considerable success last year with JK Rowling's Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
