Bat Sports v Andover

Andover travelled to BAT on Saturday and although they were looking forward to playing cricket for the first time for three weeks, they soon wished it had been a home match, where they would have been washed out.

Andover started well by winning the toss and electing to bat and they got off to a good start with Mark Miller and his opening partner, Rob Atkins taking 19 off the first two overs.

However, when Mark was adjudged to be leg before to Goldstraw for 20, Andover looked very poor in the batting department with only Steve Williams (16) and Stuart Summer reaching double figures.

Stuart, who came in at number six, was unbeaten on 39 with Shirazi taking the bottom order of Andover for 5-22.

Andover finished on 109 all out which was always going to be a easy target.

BAT opened convincingly and had 61 on the board before Kenway (34) was given out lbw to Roger Miller.
