Eastleigh'S Shane Kelly continues to pile up the points in the UK-based ARP Formula 3 Championship.
Despite a suspension problem during qualifying, he still managed to put the car fifth on the grid for the latest round at Brands Hatch - and he went on to finish fourth in the race.
Kelly (Dallara F397) spent most of the race trying to catch Janine Payne, only getting past when Payne made a slight mistake. By then, though, there wasn't enough time to reel in the third-placed Keith Baldwin.
The Eastleigh man's show earned him a third in class.
