SOUTHAMPTON'S long-established family business Williams Shipping has added another two craft to its fleet of familiar vessels with a £750,000 investment.
Wilventure II, with a crew of two, a range of 60 miles and a service speed of about 20 knots, will be used for transferring crew and passengers to and from ships in the area while Wilanne, a brand new multi-purpose work-boat and tug, will be operated within the port and along the south coast.
Philip Williams, a director of the company which was founded in 1894, said: "Wilventure II was originally constructed on the Isle of Wight in 1989 but has now been re-built."
