HEALTH bosses have unveiled Fareham's first multiple sclerosis nurse at a workshop designed to improve care.
Sufferers, doctors, nurses and health workers gathered at the Holiday Inn in Fareham to discuss better ways of providing care.
The centrepiece of the day was when Sheila Chartres stepped forward as the first nurse solely dedicated to MS in the area.
Rosemary Salmond, head of adult services at Fareham and Gosport PCT, said: "I am sure Sheila is going to be a vital member of the team.
"The workshop has been important so that we can speak to these people to find out how we can improve our service.
"We have got ten priorities that have come out of the workshop."
