HAMPTWORTH have set up a summer school to introduce girl golfers to the game. It gets under way on Thursday, July 29.
The success of 14-year-old golf prodigy Michelle Wie has brought a host of enquiries according to club professional Katie Dawkins, who is running the school.
Hamptworth's summer school will be aimed at getting girls aged from 6-16 years into the game with no experience necessary to start up.
