MANYDOWN A are the new leaders in the women's divisions of the Basingstoke and District Tennis League after a 6-2 win over RSF A.
Goodworth Clatford A are level on points with Manydown following a 7-1 win over Calleva B, in which Helen Li and Paula Wiseman hit a maximum, and a 5-3 win against Andover A, who remain third.
Old Basing A recorded their fourth straight win of the season in division two - 6-2 over Oakley A. Sandie Benham and Penny Luke won a good maximum.
Totally Tennis B are second after a 7-1 win over Hook, in which Catherine Perkins and Gill Gibson won their sets.
Andover B beat Centrecourt B 5-3, with Lizzy Austin and Sally Bainbridge winning a close-fought maximum.
Preston Candover, after a 7-1 win over Sherborne, share top spot with Aldermaston in division three. Rosemary Bligh and Lindsey Trotter won their sets in the Sherborne match.
Oakley B and Old Basing B drew their latest match, with Briget Innes-Kerr and Lynne Thomas unbeaten for Old Basing.
BDH A have regained top spot in men's division one following a 6-2 win at Overton.
Totally Tennis A beat Manydown 5-3, with Simon Taylor and Matt Waissen winning a maximum.
Waverley A have won their four matches in division two, ending with a 5-3 win over Goodworth Clatford A, thanks to a maximum from Paul Byrne and Perveez Mirza.
BDH B moved into second place after a 5-3 win over Totally Tennis B, who also lost 8-0 to Beechdown A. Peter Seward/Chris Gaze and Steve Gargett/Simon Wood formed the winning team.
Calleva A are having a mixed season. After losing 5-3 to Goodworth Clatford, in which C Pugh and M Lynch won all their sets, they had a good draw with Beechdown A.
Overton B still head division three, although they can still be caught. The second and third teams - Andover B and Old Basing B - recorded a hard-fought draw.
No-one can stop Preston Candover winning the division four title. The latest to try were Sherborne, who lost 7-1, and Waverley B, with a closer 5-3 defeat. Adrian Pilcher and Alan Jones again proved the difference between the teams.
Waverley B moved into second spot after a 7-1 win over Aldermaston B, with Joe Shevlin and Lionel Cornu winning their sets.
RSF B beat Totally Tennis D 7-1, with Vernon Grove and Pat Rice remaining unbeaten.
Centrecourt B beat division five leaders Beechdown B 6-2 to move into second spot and remain unbeaten. Whitchurch achieved their first win of the season - 5-3 at RSF C.
Steve Pelham and Mark Russell won a maximum.
Old Basing C beat Oakley C 5-3.
Andover A maintained their lead in mixed division one after their third win of the season - 6-2 over BDH.
Close behind are three teams all on the same points - Beechdown A, after a good win at Totally Tennis B, Manydown, with a 6-2 win over the same Totally Tennis team, in which Nigel Baker and Karen Ollive won their sets, and BDH.
Old Basing A maintained their 100 per cent record with a fifth division two win - this time 7-1 against Andover B. Sandie Benham and Mike Johnson comfortably won a maximum. Five teams are battling it out for the runners-up spot.
Oakley B suffered two 5-3 defeats in division three - against Old Basing B, with a maxi-mum from Phil Dixon and Meryl Paterson, and Mortimer, for whom John Crisp and Anne French won all their sets.
The promotion places remain to be played for. Odiham B remain the clear leaders in division four.
