MORE star names have been confirmed for Eastleigh's summer music festival which starts later this month.

Leo Sayer, Live Aid co-founder Midge Ure, 80s chart-topper Judie Tzuke, and Graham Gouldman of 10cc will all be performing with The SAS Band (Spike's All-Stars) on Saturday 31 July.

A surprise mystery guest is also promised by band leader Spike Edney, who played keyboards with superstar rock band Queen throughout their career and has since been musical director for Lionel Richie, the Nelson Mandela Tribute Concert in South Africa, and the Queen's Golden Jubilee Party in Buckingham Palace.

Other stars already confirmed for the ten-day festival at Fleming Park - which starts on July 23 - include Will Young, Bill Wyman and Dionne Warwick as well as Rolf Harris, classical star Aled Jones, Shane MacGowan of The Pogues, and Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel.

Festival organisers report that tickets are selling well, with people travelling from all over Britain and Europe to attend the festival - the biggest live music event in Hampshire this year.

Festival organisers have launched a special discount for concerts featuring Bill Wyman, Dionne Warwick and Aled Jones.

Anyone wanting to take advantage of the party discount offer can telephone at Southampton's Mayflower Theatre on 023 8071 1812. Normal tickets for all concerts can also be bought at The Point in Eastleigh as well as The Mayflower Theatre.
