FORMER Wimborne stars Mark Smith (2) and Darren Powell both made goalscoring debuts as Winchester City showed few signs of rustiness in their first preseason friendly at Poole Borough.
Fellow new signing Jamie Musselwhite also opened his account as City romped to a 7-0 win.
Jamie Laidlaw (2) and former BAT striker Richard Gregory also netted.
Two goals in the last two minutes from Sasha Oppinell and Jermaine Hamilton gave Farnborough Town a 2-2 draw at Newport IoW, who had taken command through an Ashley Wright double strike.
