HOW do our gardens grow? Brilliantly... come and see!
Three gardens in Rotherwick are open this Sunday, from 2pm to 6pm, in aid of the National Garden Scheme.
As ever - the famous chequerboard gardens at Whitewater School, where the children have been beavering away all week, will be open, along with the Whistler's fertile domain at 1 Wogsbarne Cottages and, a new addition to the group this year, down the road at Tylney House.
The £3 admission price covers entrance to all three gardens, and children can get in for free!
There will be light refreshments available at the school to swell the PTA coffers as well, along with plant stalls to provide additions to your own gardens.
Sadly, dogs will have to wait patiently at the entrances.
Parking is available at the village hall and Tylney House respectively.
The spirit of Jim Morris, formerly of The Ricks, will be watching over us all!
THE road not taken... (apologies to Robert Frost!) will soon be the B3349, with essential road repairs in the parish affecting Bottle Lane and Mattingley/Red Hill Road from Monday, July 19, due to essential road repairs.
You have been warned!
