GUIDE Dogs, which are being trained in Andover, are looking for bed and breakfast accommodation.
The well behaved retrievers are undergoing full time courses during the day in how to be a guide dog but need a place to stay at night.
Tina Elliman lives in Andover and is blind. Her golden retriever, Opal, is her passport to freedom and independence. She said: "She's my sanity!"
Nicky Slater, who works for the association, said: "There has to be a bond between the dog and owner."
