IT IS the season of the year when the various groups at Basingstoke's Central Studio show off their theatrical expertise in a series of presentations.
From Thursday until Saturday, beginning at 7.45pm, the Central Studio Theatre Company performs 100 by Diene Petterle, Neil Monaghan and Christopher Heimann.
Imagine you must choose one single memory from your whole life and capture it with a magical camera - everything else will be erased from your life forever. What would you choose?
Next up is the Central Studio Youth Theatre in Little Shop of Horrors to be presented in Queen Mary's Hall at 7.30pm between Wednesday, July 14, and Friday, July 16, beginning at 7.30pm.
Based on the cult movie by Roger Corman, this hilarious musical follows the exploits of Krelborn as he puts the baby back into Baby Bio and struggles to feed a plant which prefers its protein warm and fresh!
Then follows the Youth Theatre and Dance Festival with Central Studio Youth Dance Groups performing Around The World at 7.30pm on July 20 and 21, in which the young dancers display their jazz and contemporary technique as well as producing their own choreography.
Monday Youth Theatre then present Bad Day At Black Frog Creek at 7.30pm on July 23 and 24.
All's just fine and dandy at Black Frog Creek until No Nose Muldoon rides into town and... well, there's gonna be a hangin'.
Finally, but definitely not least, is the Wednesday Youth Theatre in Aesop's Fables on July 27 and 28, in which the young actors delight with song, dance and laughs aplenty.
Bookings and ticket information for all shows are available from the Central Studio box office on 01256 418318.
