OLDER person's strategy: A meeting was held last week at the Oakridge Hall For All.

Many items were discussed, some of which will be acted upon as soon as possible, while others may have to wait for funding. I will keep you in touch as events happen.

COUNCILLORS' surgery: On the first Thursday of the month, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, at the Oakridge Hall For All.

Apart from the councillors, the police have a representative present, as does Sentinel Housing and the community wardens.

This is an opportunity to ask questions about what is happening in the area.

There is also a surgery on the third Saturday of each month at Oakridge Methodist Church, from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
