The case against four Lymington & New Milton players facing FA racial abuse charges has been found "not proven" by the FA.
Jimmy Sheppard, Alan Walker-Harris, Chris Smith and former Cherries midfielder John Bailey were accused of making racist comments by Buckingham Town players and officials following their abandoned FA Vase tie with the Linnets in December.
The Sydenhams Wessex League club were also charged with failing to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and refrain from abusive and/or provocative behaviour and/or language - even though it was Buckingham who caused the tie to be abandoned after 88 minutes when they had four players red-carded.
Happily for the Linnets, the club and all four players were cleared following the hearing at Oxford United's Kassam Stadium yesterday.
They will also have their costs refunded.
"It's exactly the outcome we wanted," said club press officer Tony Baker.
