FANCY yourself driving a sporty MG ZR or a classy Rover 25?
Either car could be yours if you strike it lucky in a quiz which will help raise cash to build a cancer information and support centre at Southampton General Hospital.
The MG Rover Big Birthday Quiz is expected to raise thousands of pounds across the country this summer.
Locally, the proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Relief's South Hampshire Appeal to support people living with cancer.
The cash will be put towards a Daily Echo-backed appeal to build a £1m dedicated cancer information and support centre.
The state-of-the-art centre will provide help and advice to anyone affected by cancer - relatives and friends will be as welcome as patients themselves.
Designed to offer a homely atmosphere, the building will be in complete contrast to the wards and hospital corridors usually associated with cancer care.
A massive fundraising drive has already started and is expected to run for around two years.
The quiz on Wednesday July 14 will mark MG's 80th birthday and Rover's magic 100.
People are invited to enter a team of four in the local heat at Viking Garages in High Street, West End. The top 15 teams from across the country will be invited to compete in the national final in September. Every person on the winning team will receive a MG ZR or a Rover 25.
Entry costs £20 per team. For further information, contact Macmillan Cancer Relief's south Hampshire office on 023 8023 6367.
