BUDDING young artists at Eastleigh College have put their masterpieces on display.
Talented students adorned the hall in their arts block with everything from photographs to fashion designs.
The final-year students showed off their creations at the end-of-year show, which was open to the public.
It was the first show to be staged since new arts manager David Mackereth, 54, joined Eastleigh College eight weeks ago.
He has been spearheading a major arts reorganisation at the college in Desborough Road with the aim of getting students to make better choices on what they will do after leaving college and to prepare them for their artistic futures.
He said: "I think the students here have the potential to do really well. In two years we will have something here that is really noteworthy in the area and that is for sure."
Final year fashion student Eddie Cotterill, 18, who hopes to become a top designer like his hero Versace, said: "Dave has really helped a lot and made a big difference in our work.
"The course is much more diverse now with lots going on. I would recommend it to anyone."
