SEAFARING youngsters are facing a summer on dry land unless adult volunteers step forward.
The New Forest (East) Sea Scouts may be forced to close its senior section if new leaders cannot be found. Without the elder Scouts, the junior Beavers and Cubs will have nowhere to move up to as they get older, group secretary Shelagh Rollinson warned.
If you can spare a few hours on a Friday, please call Mrs Rollinson on 023 8089 4109 or visit the scout hut located at the Queen Elizabeth II Recreation Ground, Blackfield.
